Liebster Award Nomination

Thank you so much to Katelyn McPhee for tagging me in this your comment on my blog really made my day and being tagged in something like this is so humbling to me, your blog is incredible.

How long have you been blogging and how long to you plan to keep it going?

I've been blogging for just over a month now and I plan on keeping it going for as long as people want to read it I guess.

What's your favourite TV show?

I'm not going to lie I'm a sucker for reality TV. My favourite TV show comes under this category and it's Made In Chelsea I watch it religiously. I also love New Girl and Modern Family too so those three are my favourite shows.

Do you prefer chocolate or vanilla?
Chocolate all day everyday. Cadburys chocolate is my downfall. I do however love the smell of vanilla.

What's your guilty pleasure?

My guilty pleasure's are either Honey Boo Boo I could watch it for hours I really just love it. Or cheesy 90s pop music like the Spice Girls, Steps and S club 7.

What's your favourite comfort food?

Chicken, mash and cheese sauce is my favourite meal when I'm feeling down. Or Chinese food I adore Chinese food.

Do you prefer over the ear headphones or ear buds?

I prefer ear buds I don't know why I just do.

Are you a hummer or a singer when you're in the car?

SINGER! I'm a massive stagey. So any chance to sing I will sing very loudly as well. If Let it Go comes on in the car you're obviously going to belt it. Currently I'm singing my lungs out to Mcfly, Busted or the two combined as Mcbusted they're my favourite.

Is your blog and blog theme the way you like it or do you want to change anything?

I'd love my own banner image and I'd love to keep to my blog pattern up but because I'm in my final year at uni and coming up to my final performance I've been a bit too busy.

Do you have pets? If so what kinds and what are their names?

I do have pets, I have two dogs a boy and a girl called Alfie and Betty.

What's your favourite season?

I love spring it's not to warm and it's not to cold it's pretty perfect. I also love the baby animals and the amount of pastel colours around it's just perfection. Only downside to it is my hayfever but I'll cope.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

I'm definitely an early bird I go to sleep really early. However I can still be a grump some morning but most morning I'm fine.

So now I've answered these my nomination goes to a Little Space for Elphie. Her blog is my favourite and she's very lovely too.
I want to know:
1 Do you want to continue blogging in your style or try something new?
2 What's your favourite colour and why?
3 What's your go to lush bath bomb?
4 Who is your favourite music artist?
5 Whats your favourite make up brand?

Superdrug spending.

I'm Well it's that time of the week again, it's make up Monday. Well last week I went a bit crazy on the Superdrug website. They currently have 3 for 2 across all make up! This was not good for my bank balance its safe to say. I decided to do it online as I felt I could limit myself a bit more as usually in store im like a bull in a china shop. Well, this morning my order came. Perfect timing, I know. So I decided for today is show you what I've bought.
Firstly I bought two Make up Revolution products. Suprise suprise. Last week I talked about my love of the blusher palettes this week it's the turn of the eyeshadows.
The two palettes I bought were the Run Boy Run pallete which is the first photographed and I also bought the What You Waiting For Palette. I am madly in love with both palettes. I have round blue eyes so a lot of darker colours just don't suit me at all. So I love my light pinks, browns and beiges and neither of these palettes have let me down they do have darker tones. But as ive said before I'm a drama student so they can come in handy for me sometimes. They consist of 12 shimmer colours and 6 matte. Which for me is just perfect as I love shimmer colours a lot. What can I say I'm a glitter lover. These palettes are £6 each I would highly recommend them to anyone. Every piece of make up ive tried from this brand is perfection and the pricing makes it even better.
Keeping with eyeshadow I bought an old faithful I love the Maybelline color tattoos 24 hour.  I love them on their own or as a base for other shadows as it gives them a lot more staying power I re purchased pink gold as its my go to.
The last eyeshadow product I bought is sketching ive heard people talk about non stop so I thought I'd get in on the hype and that's the Rimmel Kate Moss eyeshadow pencils I bought the rose gold which is a very coppery colour and is just beautiful I love the texture of these and I can see a lot more of them joining my make up bag.
Moving on I bought a new liquid eyeliner not really that exciting but I wear eyeliner every day so I needed a back up.

Moving on I said last week I'm a blusher lover. I really love sleek blushers they are incredible so I just had to get one in three for two and I bought pixie pink usually I go for more muted blushes but I couldn't resist this blush. I think it's because I've always wanted to be Elle Woods so this pink really drew me in.
Last but not least we will move onto lip products I bought three I bought a Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque in Rose on the Rocks. I love the matte Rouge editions so we will see if I love these just as much. Also just look at the packaging how cute.
Lastly I bought two Mua lip products they're just cheap and cheerful really . One is the tinted balm in French violet and the other is a lipstick in barely there the pigmentation in these is amazing for the price.
All together all of this came to £31 which for how much I've got is pretty good.
Let me know if you've tried any of these and what you think.

How to cheer yourself up 💚

My  feel good Friday this week is going to be about making yourself feel better.
We all have up and down days but on my down days there's a few things I like to do to cheer myself up.
Firstly I love a good bath. Preferably a lush bath. Is there anything nicer, I think not. I own a lot of lush bath products as visible in the photo below.
My very favourite has to be the comforter. It smells incredible like blackcurrent and when's its in the water it feels like you're just having a huge bubbly hug there are no words for the beauty of a lush bath.

My second is I love to have a bit of a pamper that usually involves painting my nails. On down days for me the brighter the better I sometimes even co ordinate them with my clothes, that's really sad I know but hey it makes me feel better .
This is a Tanya Burr polish in Be Bright Be Beautiful Be You . The skirt is Asos.

Another thing that I do that really might seem a big superficial but it really makes me ridiculously happy is wearing my favourite clothes . For me there's something about wearing my favourite outfit that just makes me feel really happy.
This outfit is my current favourite I got the shirt from depop and the skirt is new look old stock. I always get compliments on this outfit which is always lovely to brighten your day. The bright sunny colours also always remind me to keep my chin up.

Retail therapy, this is really good for me not so good for my bank balance. I just love to shop it's my favourite thing to do. No matter what's its for I just love to shop a lot.

Seeing my boyfriend/friends/family, sometimes all you need is a good natter. I'm lucky enough to have some of the best people in the world around me and I'm thankful for every single one of them.

In my first post I mentioned I'm a drama student, so I love to be on stage. This is such a good way of cheering yourself up it never fails to make me smile. This one isn't for everyone but I also do panto and seeing the happiness bought to people watching the shows is incredible.

Lastly as I admitted in an earlier post I'm a huge disney fan so I love to curl up on the sette watching Disney films with my lovely boyfriend. I also love musicals, chick flicks or Made in Chelsea. Yes I'm a huge Made in Chelsea fan I'll hold my hands up and say it ive never missed an episode but it never fails to cheer me up.

Okay go enjoy a good pamper and a chat.

My Wardrobe staples.

I'm  a great lover of clothes. But my staples are probably very different to other people's as I like to dress well differently or as I sometimes call say like an over grown five year old.

My first staple are primarks super cosy tights. They're literally heaven sent. 99.9% of the time I'll be wearing dresses or skirts. Come rain or shine so in winter spring and autumn and sometimes summer where I live they are a must have . The best way to describe them is literally putting your feet into a toaster. They're £3.50 a pair but I must have about 10 pairs. Seriously just get some now.

Number two: I own about 20 hair bows or bow ties of different prints and patterns. I prefer the ones that have a big clip on the back as I can either choose to clip them in my hair or most of the time I wear them as a bow tie. Yes bow ties are cool. My favourite is from Asos it's an pink cat bow tie downside no hair clip.'c upside it's extremely cute.

You've probably all seen my quirky clutch post by now, they are now a serious staple for me  and really unless I'm going to uni  I don't feel complete without one. If I could take them to uni I would but they're just not big enough for all my uni stuff.

Mary Jane shoes, they are just perfection. They are beyond adorable to look at I mean come on there's nothing sweeter than Mary Janes paired with my next staple.

Frilly socks, I'm a frilly sock obsessive. I'm sure ive said before that I can't leave Primark without a new pair it's true. They're just so cute. I love to have them sticking out of my chelsea boots for a girly sweet look.

Dresses with collars, the whole reason behind the blog name rolls down to this last and most important staple. The majority of wardrobe is collared dresses my love for them is ridiculous and to be honest it always will be. I'll probably be wearing them when I'm 80.

Sugar and spice is blush that's nice.

So today is the first day of collars and frills having a format. WHAT?! I'm actually organised for once in my life. I've made a post on my facebook page vowing that Monday will be make up,Wednesday will be wardrobe Wednesday and Friday feel good Friday I can already here you all going how longs that going to last Leanne but I'm going to try! Right well considering it's Monday here is make up Monday for you.
Okay I love blush, I just do. I don't wear foundation, I have the bare minerals loose powder foundation for really bad skin days but most of the time I just don't bother. But when I need a pop of colour on my skin, I lean straight towards blushers and just recently my go to palette has been the sugar and spice palette by Makeup Revolution.
It comes in this super sleek packaging with rose gold writing and quite frankly it looks amazing. This palette is really quite big so it wouldn't be good for travelling with, but for at home well it's perfect. I picked this one up from my local Superdrug about a month and a half ago.

Now it's not secret that I'm skin tone vampire, I mean it im ridiculously pale. But these colours are all perfect for my skin tone.

The palette consists of two highlights and  for blushes, however the darker one could be used as bronzer as they're a really subtle brown perfect for us paleys. The colours are beautifully pigmented there's no shimmer blushes in the palette but that's okay I do love a shimmer blush but I'll let the palette off because are you ready for the best bit about it. I don't think you're quite prepared for this. This palette comes in at £6. Yes you read right £6. At that price you seriously can not go wrong everything about it is fantastic. Well done to you Makeup Revolution.
